Intracom University Marks Its Admission to the Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges

In an atmosphere of solemnity, responsibility and significance to the school’s development path, Intracom University has been officially admitted to become a member of the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges according to Decision No. 501/QD-CNHV issued on January 6, 2026.

Overview of the working session

On January 16, 2026, the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges solemnly held a ceremony to announce and award the Decision to admit Intracom University to become an official member of the Association. The event marks a new step for the school in the process of deep integration into the Vietnamese higher education network.

Attending the meeting, from the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges, there was Dr. Le Viet Khuyen – Vice President of the Association; Master Pham Ngoc Lan – Head of the Member Affairs Committee; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga – Head of the International Cooperation Department, Director of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation under the Association; with Dr. Van Dinh Ung – Head of Communications and Students Department.

At the meeting, Master Pham Ngoc Lan announced Decision No. 501/QD-CNHV officially admitting Intracom University to become a member of the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges. According to this Decision, Intracom University is an official member, fully exercising its rights and responsibilities as prescribed in the Association’s Charter.

Sharing at the event, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Intracom University gave an overview of the formation and development process of the school. Accordingly, Intracom University, with Intracom Group as a strategic investor, formerly known as Chu Van An University, was established under Decision No. 135/2006/QD-TTg dated June 8, 2006 of the Prime Minister.

President of Intracom University expressed his honor when the school officially became a member of the Association, and sent deep thanks to the Association’s leaders for trusting, recognizing and creating conditions for Intracom University to join the common roof of the community of higher education institutions across the country.

Within the framework of the meeting, Mr. Phuong Van Chuong – Director of Intracom University Library Information Center shared about the school’s development strategy in the coming period. Accordingly, Intracom University sets a goal within the next 2-3 years to rise to the top group of private higher education institutions in Vietnam. In that context, becoming a member of the Association is considered an important advantage, helping the school expand connections and access professional and academic cooperation opportunities.

“Intracom University is moving towards the 20th anniversary of its establishment. However, reality shows that general activities, especially participation in forums, academic networks and other higher education institutions, are still quite quiet, not commensurate with the school’s development journey. In the coming period, Intracom University determines its priority to join organizations and strengthen links with universities in the Northern region. In particular, the school is especially interested in investing and upgrading the library system, considering this an important foundation for training and research,” said the Director of Intracom University’s Library Information Center.

Director of Intracom University Library Information Center wishes to receive advice and exchange from the Association, especially in building digital libraries and developing learning resources. From there, create conditions to gradually improve the quality of training and meet the development requirements of Intracom University in the new period.

Sharing at the meeting, Ms. Dang Thi Phuong – Deputy Head of Marketing and Communications Department of Intracom University said that the school expects to further strongly expand its connection network with domestic and foreign universities in the near future.

The strong expansion of the connection network between the school and other universities is an important premise for students to have more space to exchange, learn, expand knowledge and build academic and professional relationships with friends in many different environments.

When participating in affiliated activities, common “playgrounds” of students from other schools will also help Intracom University students enrich their school experience. From there, it directly contributes to the process of forming and developing skills, which is an increasingly decisive factor in the context of higher education aiming strongly at practicality and integration.

Therefore, the Deputy Head of Marketing and Communications Department expressed his expectation that Intracom University becoming a member of the Association will open new doors of connection for the school. Thereby, creating conditions for Intracom University students to access more opportunities in studying, practicing skills and preparing for the future.

Dr. Le Viet Khuyen summarized the formation process, development orientation as well as the general picture of the Association’s activities in recent times. In addition, Dr. Khuyen shared practical experiences from the activities of a number of clubs under the Association that have been established and operated effectively, considering these as notable reference models for higher education institutions, including University Clubs and private colleges.

The Vice President of the Association expressed his desire for Intracom University to proactively, positively and substantially participate in the common activities of the Association. From there, enhance the exchange and sharing of experiences in management, academia, professional expertise, and international cooperation; At the same time, promote exchanges between lecturers and students.

On behalf of the leaders of the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges, Dr. Le Viet Khuyen presented the Decision to admit members, officially recognizing Intracom University as a member of the Association.

Dr. Le Viet Khuyen also expects that, as a member, Intracom University will join the Association in contributing ideas to build and improve activities in an increasingly practical and effective direction, so that the Association can truly become a common fulcrum, a place to connect and accompany higher education institutions nationwide.

The meeting took place in an open, constructive atmosphere, demonstrating the spirit of responsibility, cooperation and companionship between the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges and Intracom University. Within the framework of the program, representatives of both sides gave each other souvenirs with a sense of respect and connection, expressing goodwill for cooperation and desire for long-term companionship. The event is not only a milestone recognizing the school’s position in the higher education system, but also opens up new opportunities for the two sides to strengthen connections, exchange expertise and coordinate the implementation of practical activities, contributing to improving the quality of training and promoting the sustainable development of Intracom University in the next period.
