Faculty of Law Holds University-Level Teaching Evaluation for Candidates Applying for Full-Time Lecturer Positions

In order to ensure the quality of the teaching staff, and at the same time strictly implement the recruitment and professional assessment process in accordance with the University’s regulations, on the morning of March 10, 2026, the Faculty of Law – Intracom University organized a school-level lecture review session for candidates applying for the position of full-time lecturer.

This is an important activity in the development of high-quality human resources, contributing to strengthening the teaching team with strong expertise, legal professional standards and meeting the requirements of higher education innovation.

The lecture review was held with the participation of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law, along with representatives of functional departments and divisions of Intracom University. On the side of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law were Prof. Dr. Tran Phuong Dat – Dean of the Faculty of Law, Chairman of the Scientific Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Van Tien – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Vice Chairman of the Scientific Council; Master Nguyen Thi Nhung and Master, Lawyer Pham Van Thao – Lecturer of the Faculty of Law, Council Member.

Also attending the program was a representative of Master Ha Dinh Bon – Head of Internal Inspection Department, Branch. Representatives of the School’s functional departments and committees attended the lecture review, ensuring the recruitment process and professional assessment were carried out seriously and objectively.

In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Scientific Council emphasized that the purpose of the lecture review is not only to evaluate the candidate’s professional capacity, pedagogical methods and communication ability, but also an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate their academic thinking, interactive capacity and development potential in a professional higher education environment. This is also an important basis for the Council to consider and comprehensively evaluate before recommending accepting candidates for the full-time faculty position of the Faculty of Law.

At the lecture review, the candidate presented the lecture content with the topic “Concept, history of formation and development of International Law”. The lecture is meticulously prepared, demonstrating serious investment in expertise, logical content structure, relatively rich materials and effective support from the presentation system. The presentation shows that the candidate has a background in specialized knowledge, a confident demeanor, the ability to communicate relatively clearly and initially demonstrates an interactive spirit in teaching activities.

In the spirit of objectivity, construction and responsibility, members of the Scientific Council and representatives of functional departments and divisions have made many profound and frank comments and suggestions. Through evaluation opinions from the Scientific Council, the candidate was recognized to have made clear progress compared to the Faculty-level lecture review conducted previously; Basic lectures are systematic, ensuring professional logic, relatively complete preparation materials, and a confident and serious teaching style. Besides the positive points, the Council also pointed out a number of contents that need to continue to be improved such as strengthening pedagogical methods, enriching the reference system, introducing a clearer overview of the subject in the teaching process, and streamlining presentation content to ensure conciseness and improve the effectiveness of learners’ reception. Some comments also emphasized the need to further standardize academic content so that lectures are both accurate and rich in depth, thereby expanding suggestive issues, increasing exchange, debate and excitement in the classroom.

Council members express comments and professional suggestions for the candidate’s lecture review

Representatives of departments and functional departments of the University also acknowledged that the Faculty of Law has fully, seriously and properly implemented the recruitment process as well as organizing lecture reviews. All comments highly appreciated the candidate’s spirit of serious preparation, confidence, professional knowledge and demanding attitude throughout the process of participating in the lecture review. These are important factors, reflecting the candidate’s career development potential as well as adaptability in a professional university training environment.

Concluding at the meeting, Prof. Dr. Tran Phuong Dat – Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law affirmed that the candidate had thoughtful and methodical preparation and demonstrated progress in presentation methods as well as the ability to interact with learners. The Chairman of the Council also emphasized that in the coming time, candidates need to continue to improve lesson plans, enhance academic openness and promote stronger classroom organization skills to improve teaching quality.

Based on democratic, public and objective discussion, the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law and representatives of units, departments and functional departments voted on accepting candidates for the position of full-time lecturer of the Faculty of Law. The voting results reached 100% agreement, demonstrating the Council’s unity, trust and appreciation for the candidates’ abilities, qualities and professional potential.

The lecture review ended in a serious, responsible and constructive atmosphere. The organization of University-level lecture review not only demonstrates the rigor and professionalism in Intracom University’s recruitment process, but also affirms the University’s determination to select, foster and develop a team of quality lecturers, contributing to improving the effectiveness of training, scientific research and the position of the Faculty of Law in the higher education system.
