June 8, 2026 has gone down in the history of Intracom University as a special milestone, marking the 20-year journey of knowledge creation and officially opening the strong development path of a model private business university in Vietnam. The event is not only an opportunity to look back at the journey from the foundation of Chu Van An University to Intracom University today, but also opens a new era of development, where knowledge, practice, innovation and desire to serve are connected in a long-term vision.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Uong Chu Luu – Former Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung – Former Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Former Member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Former Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Tran Hong Ha – Former Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Former Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Pham Van Nghiem – Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee; together with representatives of ministries, departments, central branches, news agencies, press, leaders of agencies and units of Hanoi city and Hung Yen province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Intracom University, emphasized that the 20th Anniversary of the school’s founding is not only an opportunity to look back on a two-decade journey of construction and growth, but also a special moment to pay tribute to previous generations, affirm the achievements that have been achieved, identify the new requirements of the times and together open a new stage of development of the school.
Born from the academic foundation of Chu Van An University according to Decision No. 135/2006/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, Intracom University has persistently carried out its mission of training human resources with knowledge, skills and social responsibility, contributing to the socio-economic development of Hung Yen province, the Red River Delta region as well as many localities across the country. From this school, many generations of bachelors and engineers have grown up, bringing with them professional knowledge, professional courage and a spirit of service to contribute to agencies, businesses, organizations and the community.
According to Dr. Tran Ai Cam, in addition to training, the school also gradually builds a foundation for scientific research and quality assurance. Intracom University currently has an increasingly strengthened team of lecturers and management staff; There are 09 majors at university level, 02 majors at master’s level; There are scientific research projects at all levels, published domestically and internationally.

The year 2025 is considered a significant milestone for Intracom University. In July 2025, Intracom Group officially became a strategic investor of the school. On November 5, 2025, the Prime Minister issued a decision to change the name of Chu Van An University to Intracom University. This event is not simply a name change, but also opens a transformation in vision, development model, management method and strategic positioning in the new period.
“If the past 20 years have been a journey of building a foundation, keeping fire and overcoming difficulties, then the road ahead must be a journey of innovation, breakthrough and value creation”, Dr. Tran Ai Cam emphasized.
Entering a new phase of development, Intracom University determines its mission to be the knowledge nucleus of the Intracom ecosystem, providing high-quality human resources and innovative solutions to serve businesses and serve social progress. The vision by 2045 is to become a smart, multi-campus university urban system in Vietnam and in the region; is a symbol of the innovative university model associated with businesses.
Development strategy for the period 2026 – 2030, vision to 2045 is built on the 1–3–4–1 architecture: one comprehensive strategic goal; three training segments including quality mass, Co-op training associated with businesses and elite training; four core pillars include training, scientific research, innovation, community service and sustainable development; same digital infrastructure and unified data management.

One of the highlights of the program is the ceremony to announce the new brand identity system, marking the legalization of the name Intracom University according to Decision No. 2445/QD-TTg of the Government. With the media acronym INU, the new identity opens up a modern visual sense, reflecting the school’s strong transition from the traditional training model to a dynamic, innovative and integrated university and business ecosystem.
Carrying the message “Unleashing Potential”, the identity represents the learner-centered educational philosophy, aiming to awaken abilities, nurture aspirations and expand development opportunities for each student. The logo is built on the combination of a circle of perfect energy, an eight-petaled Mandala flower and the sun of wisdom in the center, symbolizing wisdom, balance, sustainable connection and the spread of multidisciplinary knowledge.
INU’s visual identity continues to be affirmed through two main colors: wisdom purple and energy yellow. Purple represents academic depth, standards and intellectual bravery; Gold evokes the spirit of innovation, youth and desire to rise. The blend of two colors creates the image of a modern university, formal but close, rich in foundation but always moving with the times.
