Opening the Door to the Future: Concluding the Meaningful First Stage of the Career Livestream with the Class of 2025–2026

2026-08-21

After the high school graduation exam, 2K8 students continue to enter an important stage: evaluating results, choosing majors, arranging aspirations and preparing for the university journey. This is also the time when many students and parents are faced with a series of questions: If test scores are not as expected, what chance is there? Should you choose an industry based on your interests or trends? How will AI impact careers? What do businesses really need from new graduates?

In order to support students in answering those concerns, Intracom University organized a series of 2026 admission livestreams including eight content sessions over three days, July 21, 22 and 23.

Each day focuses on a different group of issues, from admission strategies, learning foreign languages in the AI age to career opportunities in the fields of Information Technology, Cloud Computing and Accounting. The participation of school representatives, experts and businesses has helped the orientation content be viewed from many angles, closer to the actual needs of the labor market.

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

Three Days of Livestream – A Journey from Awareness to Action

The first day focused on helping students position themselves, review exam results, learn the value of foreign languages in the age of AI and grasp important steps in the admission process.

Day two expands perspectives on AI, data, IT and Cloud Computing. Through sharing from businesses, students better understand the necessary competencies to become engineers capable of working in a modern environment.

The final day delves into the Accounting industry, illuminating the transformation of this profession with the impact of software and AI.

Eight livestream sessions aim at a common goal: helping students not only know what majors they can study but also understand what skills they need to prepare for future development.

Day 1: Position yourself, expand opportunities and act at the right time

Kick Off – Positioning 2K8, from thinking to action

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

Kick Off session opens the livestream series with the participation of Host Thanh Loan and career guidance expert of Intracom University – Master Nguyen Hoang Tien.

Originating from the common psychology of students, they always feel worried when their scores are not as expected, have not determined their major or are wondering between personal desires and family orientation. And instead of just giving general advice, the livestream session helps students identify which group they belong to: they don’t know what major to choose, want to change their aspirations, want to use their transcript results, have chosen a school but are still undecided, or are looking for more information with their families.

From there, the program introduces the accompanying journey including steps: preparing information, learning about admission methods, exploring careers, adjusting aspirations and completing admission documents.

The Kick Off session sent 2K8 a clear message: test scores reflect results at a point in time, but are not the only factor that determines college admission opportunities. What is more important is that students correctly understand their situation, proactively seek information and choose appropriate options.

Learning foreign languages in the AI era – Mastering English, mastering global opportunities

The second session was conducted under the coordination of Host Thanh Loan, and MSc. Dang Xuan Thang – CEO of Edu Global Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, and Dr. Duong Thi Hien – Deputy Head of Foreign Language Department, Intracom University. And still on the topic “Learning Foreign Languages in the Age of AI”, the live session also invited the participation of Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tu – Vice President of Intracom University, and Mr. Vu Hoang Long – Chief Supervisor of EMI LanguageCert Exam Department.

The central question is: When AI can translate, write emails and support communication, is learning foreign languages still necessary?

Through discussion, the guests agreed that AI does not lose the value of foreign languages. On the contrary, the labor market is in need of personnel who know how to combine foreign languages with technology, communication skills and professional competencies. Businesses are not only looking for certificate holders, but are interested in the ability to use foreign languages to present, negotiate, coordinate in groups, solve problems and complete real work. Five groups of competencies are emphasized including work foreign languages, AI applications, presentations – negotiations, teamwork and problem solving.

At Intracom University, foreign languages are oriented towards application, associated with fields such as commerce, communication, tourism and technology. The four-year roadmap starts from strengthening the foundation, getting acquainted with AI and university study methods. After that, students continue to learn specialized knowledge, prepare for certificates, participate in practical activities, practice and prepare for recruitment connections.

The notable point is that students who do not have a good foreign language background can still start if they have the right method and roadmap. The competency formula emphasized in the program is:

Foreign language + AI + professional skills + international certificate.

Young people do not learn foreign languages to compete with AI, but to use technology more effectively and expand work opportunities in a global environment.

What does 2K8 need to prepare for the upcoming roadmap?

The third session had the participation of MSc. Nguyen Hoang Tien in the role of coordinator; MSc. Duong Van Ba - Vice President of Intracom University; MSc. Tran Quoc Bao – Specialist of the Department of Training Management and Scientific Research; with Mr. Dinh Minh Duc – Admissions Consultant, Admissions Consulting and Student Affairs Department.

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

This is an in-depth consultation session on the registration process and what students need to prepare after the exam.

Guests warn of many seemingly small errors that can cause students to miss the opportunity to be admitted: they are eligible for early admission but do not register their wishes on the general system; choose a major based on friends; aligning aspirations without strategy; Failure to pay fees or failure to confirm admission on time.

To limit risks, students are instructed to build lists in three groups: dream aspirations, reasonable aspirations and safe aspirations. At the same time, experts explain the principle of admission in order of priority so that students understand why their most favorite major needs to be placed in the appropriate position.

The livestream session also systematizes the milestones that need to be tracked, from announcing test scores, reviewing, registering and adjusting aspirations to paying fees, announcing benchmark scores and confirming admission.

In addition to the admission process, students and parents also receive answers about applications, tuition fees, scholarships, dormitories, student activities, internship and job opportunities.

Three important keywords sent to 2K8 are:

Proactive – On time – Accurate.

A suitable choice should be accompanied by complete implementation of each step. Understanding correctly but acting slowly or inaccurately can still cause candidates to miss the opportunity.

Day 2: Technology changes rapidly, combat capabilities make the difference

Three sessions on July 22 bring students closer to the AI ecosystem, the international technology business environment, and the operational work behind digital platforms.

Training AI human resources in the era of digital transformation

The 4th live session under the coordination of MSc. Nguyen Hoang Tien, with MSc. Pham Thi Ngoc – Lecturer of Faculty of Technology, Intracom University. Ms. Pham Thi Quyen – CEO Projekt Realization Asia Vietnam and Mr. Andreas Dirring – CEO – Founder Projekt Realization Asia.

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

Discussion content focuses on the role of AI, data and Robotics in the digital transformation process. In particular, data is seen as a strategic resource, directly affecting the quality of AI models.

PRA Vietnam representative introduced the orientation of building an ecosystem connecting Vietnamese knowledge, technology and human resources with the global innovation network. The AI Data Ecosystem project in Vietnam aims to connect four subjects: the State, schools, businesses and international partners.

The goal is not only to bring technology to Vietnam but also contribute to developing human resources, mastering data and increasing the ability to participate in the global AI value chain.

The livestream session also pointed out that Vietnam’s advantages lie in its young workforce, ability to adapt quickly and spirit of innovation. However, to turn advantages into results, training activities need to be more closely linked to research and the actual needs of businesses.

In the cooperation orientation between PRA Vietnam and Intracom University, real problems, real projects and business experts are included in the training process. Students are oriented to approach AI through four levels: getting acquainted with digital thinking and data; AI application in each specialty; carry out group projects; then participate in competitions, internships or international cooperation activities.

The most notable message for 2K8 is that AI doesn’t just belong to IT students. Students of Economics, Accounting, Law, Foreign Languages, Health, Construction or Communications all need to know how to use AI in accordance with their expertise.

Students who have never programmed or excelled in Math can still start if they have logical thinking, self-study spirit, critical thinking ability and perseverance when solving problems.

Study at INU – What are the opportunities to become an engineer at NTT DATA VDS?

Second session under the leadership of MSc. Nguyen Hoang Tien, and PhD. Ngo Hoang Huy – Dean of Faculty of Technology, Intracom University. With the participation of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son – Deputy General Director of NTT DATA VDS, and Mr. Dinh Van Hoan – Director of Technology NTT DATA VDS.

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

Through a business perspective, students can better visualize the path from the classroom to the international technology environment.

A software project needs more than just coders. For the product to be deployed successfully, the engineering team must also analyze requirements, design solutions, test, set up the environment, control quality, manage progress and coordinate with customers.

Therefore, a global engineer needs three foundations: technological capabilities, the ability to understand requirements and business, and the ability to communicate in a technical environment.

AI can assist with coding, testing, and automating many repetitive tasks. However, technology cannot replace people who understand the problem, evaluate risks, choose solutions and take responsibility for the final results.

The suggested four-year roadmap starts with learning the foundation, English and self-study methods in the first year. Second year, students should participate in group projects and become familiar with source code management tools. The third year is the time to approach business problems, build capacity profiles and prepare for internships. In the final year, students need to complete projects, standardize CVs and practice interview skills.

Through cooperation with Intracom University, NTT DATA VDS can participate in program comments, share topics, guide and criticize projects, mentor students, support project orientation and open up opportunities for scholarships, internships or recruitment from time to time.

With 2K8, it is important not to choose Information Technology just because you heard that the industry has good income. Students need to evaluate their own suitability and prioritize an environment that allows them to practice, build products and interact with businesses early.

Three qualities emphasized by businesses are:

Professional – Prestigious – Kind.

When digital infrastructure creates the future

The livestream session had Ms. Tien INU – representative of Intracom University as MC, guests were Mr. Do Tuan Anh – Head of IT Department at Phuong Dong General Hospital and MSc. Nguyen Huu Nguyen – representative of Intracom University’s Faculty of Technology.

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

The program helps viewers understand that behind every car booking application, online shopping, digital banking or medical examination and treatment system is an infrastructure including servers, Internet, database and Cloud platform.

Cloud Computing-oriented students not only learn programming but also learn how to design, build and operate “digital houses” for businesses.

In the medical field, Cloud can be used to store medical images, manage electronic medical records, support scheduling, return test results, connect data between departments, back up information and link health monitoring IoT devices.

Along with operational capabilities comes the requirement to ensure data security. IT and Cloud engineers must have the ability to prevent malicious code, information leaks and incidents that can disrupt the organization’s operations.

Livestream sessions also help differentiate three work groups. System Admin focuses on traditional server and system administration. Cloud Engineer designs, deploys and operates infrastructure on AWS, Azure or other Cloud platforms. DevOps connects software development and operations and automates the product deployment process.

AI does not reduce the need for Cloud engineers. In contrast, AI systems need computing power, storage, and large amounts of data to operate. Stereotypical jobs may be shrinking, but people with systems thinking, security knowledge and troubleshooting abilities still play an important role.

The Information Technology and Cloud Computing training program at INU is oriented on three elements: practice, international standards and association with businesses. Students have increased practice in the Lab, access to Cloud platforms, prepare knowledge for international certificates and develop specialized English.

Day 3: Accounting is not disappearing but is entering a new role

Two livestream sessions on July 23 clarified the transformation of the Accounting profession under the impact of software, data and AI.

Can AI replace Accounting? Or are businesses thirsty for real-world accounting?

Livestream session led by MC Thanh Loan and representative Ms. Doan Thi Thao, lecturer of economics department at Intracom University, especially with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh – Director of Thien An Accounting Company Limited.

The program started from a paradox: software and AI are increasingly performing accounting operations, but businesses still have difficulty finding people who can actually do the work.

Through experience working with more than 500 customers and business partners, representatives of Thien An Accounting Co., Ltd. pointed out many common problems: missing or incorrect documents, inconsistent data, reports do not help managers understand cash flow, accounting personnel only know how to operate the software but are not able to identify risks.

The difference between people who “know how to enter data” and people who “can do the job” lies in the ability to understand the nature of transactions, check the validity of records, compare data, detect abnormalities and propose solutions.

When recruiting new graduates, businesses don’t just look at degrees. Candidates may be asked to read a set of documents, point out missing information, compare invoices with contracts and bank statements or demonstrate how to handle a specific transaction.

In the first days of internship or work, factors such as punctuality, punctuality, knowing how to take notes, checking before submitting, receiving feedback and not repeating old mistakes are also highly appreciated.

The cooperation between Intracom University and Thien An Accounting Company Limited aims to incorporate business requirements into training. Students are oriented to access documents, invoices, debts, salaries, inventory, assets, revenue, expenses, taxes, Excel and accounting software.

AI can support reading invoices, entering data, comparing, synthesizing reports and detecting abnormalities. However, AI cannot fully understand the context of each business or be responsible for the decisions made.

Therefore, the role of accountants is gradually shifting from data entry to control, judgment, analysis, consulting and explanation.

Accounting – Hospital administration language

The second session had the participation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Dung – Head of Finance – Accounting Department of Phuong Dong General Hospital; MSc. Nong Thi Ngoc Dung – lecturer, Faculty of Economics, Intracom University; and MC Thuy Linh.

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

In a modern hospital, behind every examination, service, medicine, material or equipment there is financial data that needs to be recorded and controlled.

Accounting helps turn complex activities into information about revenue, costs, cash flows, liabilities, assets, resources and fluctuations that need to be checked. Data therefore not only reflects what has happened but also serves as a basis for planning, forecasting and making decisions.

A number that wants to become valuable information needs to go through four steps: recognition; check and compare; analysis; then report, warn and suggest.

The session also clarified the difference between Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. Financial accounting focuses on recording and preparing reports according to regulations. Management accounting delves into cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, performance comparison and risk warning.

When a hospital considers expanding specialties, investing in equipment or adding services, the accounting department needs to provide information about expected revenue, investment costs, personnel needs, capital recovery ability, cash flow and financial risks.

A decision may be professionally appropriate but may not be financially effective. Management accounting helps leaders balance development goals and ability to use resources.

At Intracom University, the Accounting training model is introduced in four layers: theory, simulation, practice and business semester. This model aims to help students gradually move from understanding knowledge to analyzing and handling work.

Accounting knowledge not only opens the way to becoming an accountant but also creates the foundation for positions related to financial analysis, internal control, risk management, operations, consulting and corporate governance.

Outstanding Values From the 2026 Admissions Livestream Series

Touching the Future: Closing Stage 1 Meaningful Livestream with 2k8

Business voices are brought closer to students

The participation of PRA Vietnam, NTT DATA VDS, Thien An KT Co., Ltd. and Phuong Dong General Hospital helps students understand what the market needs in a new graduate.

Businesses don’t just need people with degrees. Factors such as practical ability, problem-solving thinking, foreign languages, responsibility, communication skills and professional behavior are increasingly important.

AI is seen as a tool, not an answer to replace humans

AI is a topic throughout many sessions, from Foreign Languages, Information Technology, Cloud Computing to Accounting.

The general message is that AI can replace some repetitive tasks but cannot replace the ability to understand context, assess risk, communicate, make decisions and take responsibility.

Young people need to learn how to use AI to increase productivity, while maintaining critical thinking and the ability to verify information.

Training orientation associated with practice and business

Through livestream sessions, training orientation at Intracom University is shown through connecting knowledge with real situations, projects, labs, simulations and business semesters.

Students are not only oriented on “what to learn” but also need to gradually demonstrate “what they can do” through products, portfolios, ability to handle work and experience at businesses.

This is an especially important factor in the context that employers are increasingly interested in practical abilities in addition to academic results.

Closing a Livestream Stage, Opening a Future Journey

Intracom University’s 2026 admission livestream series has created a connection point between students, parents, schools, experts and businesses.

From admission strategies to foreign languages, AI, Information Technology, Cloud Computing and Accounting, each session guides students to a more proactive view of the future.

The exam results do not close the future opportunities for 2K8 students. Technology also does not take away the opportunities of those who know how to learn, adapt and master tools. When understanding themselves correctly, grasping the information and taking action at the right time, each student can step by step choose the right path.

Intracom University would like to thank the experts, business representatives, lecturers, parents and students who have accompanied the program series.

Students who need support regarding majors, admission methods or university pathways can register for consulting with Intracom University to receive answers and orientation appropriate to their abilities, interests and personal goals.

The journey accompanying 2K8 is still continuing with practical topics about choosing a major, career orientation and learning opportunities in the digital age.
