Speaking at the opening of the conference, leader of Intracom University – Mr. Nguyen Thanh Viet emphasized that science and technology are only truly valuable when brought into life, solving specific social problems and creating a positive, sustainable impact. The organization of the conference at Phuong Dong Medical Complex – an integrated model between training, research and technology application in the medical field is a clear demonstration of the development philosophy of “training linked to practice, research linked to application” that the School is steadfastly pursuing.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Viet – Chairman of Intracom University Council gave the opening speech of the conference
The Chairman of the School Council emphasized that: “We want to not talk about technology in the abstract, but let scientists, businesses and students see, touch and discuss real operating models.” From that perspective, Intracom University affirms its commitment to serving as a sustainable bridge between researchers, training institutions and the business community, contributing to bringing scientific knowledge beyond the academic scope, becoming a productive resource and practical value for society.
Speaking online at the conference, Mr. Jacob Owusu Sarfo – Director of the Center for Behavioral and Health Advocacy in Ghana said that the great challenges of the time such as climate change, the mental health crisis after the pandemic or the disparity in access to technology do not belong to any one country, but are global problems. According to him, the current core difficulty lies not in the lack of scientific or technological solutions, but in the fragmentation and lack of connection between those solutions. Only when countries, organizations and the scientific community share knowledge and unify values of ethics and social responsibility can current efforts create a long-term impact, contributing to building a future of sustainable development for succeeding generations.

In a context where marine resources are increasingly under pressure, taking advantage of advanced technologies to monitor, manage and protect the coastal environment is considered a key solution towards sustainable development. At the conference, the presentation of Prof.Dr. Ngo Xuan Binh with the topic “Application of new technology in monitoring Vietnam’s coastal environmental resources from the experience of some countries around the world” brought profound analysis, closely linking international experience and practical domestic conditions. On that basis, the professor provides strategic directions to enhance the deployment of new technology, contributing to the formation of a synchronous, accurate and reliable data system, effectively serving planning, early warning of environmental risks and management and handling of violations.

One of the highlights of the conference was Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tu’s speech surrounding the introduction of artificial intelligence into teaching activities at the university level. From a practical and strategic perspective, the Doctor emphasized that AI does not overshadow the role of the instructor, but on the contrary, will become an effective support tool, helping the teaching and learning process be individualized according to the abilities and needs of each learner. Based on the discussion, the workshop agreed on a roadmap to deploy AI with four levels: perfecting policies, innovating pedagogical methods, developing technology infrastructure and building appropriate evaluation mechanisms.

Essay “Application of AI in university teaching” by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tu’s presentation attracted the attention of the attending delegates
According to Dr. Nguyen Quoc Tu, AI can take on many repetitive tasks, support learning data analysis and provide academic suggestions on a large scale, thereby helping lecturers focus more on professional activities and academic interactions. The discussions at the conference suggested a new approach for higher education institutions, in which humans and AI work together to improve the quality of training and student learning experiences.
