Implementing the direction of the Chairman of the School Council and the Board of Directors of Intracom University on developing resources to serve learning, research and fostering the spiritual life of officials, lecturers and students, the Information Center – Library of Intracom University has built and put into operation the Buddhist and Spiritual Science bookshelf.

During the short period of implementation, the School Library has actively collected, received and added many valuable books related to Buddhism, human philosophy and spiritual practice. Many typical sutras and works have been collected in the bookshelf such as: Lotus Sutra, Medicine Sutra, Luong Hoang Sam, Daily Recitation Sutra, collections of Mahayana sutras, Padmasambhava, Buddhist study handbook, Buddhism saved my life, Karma and results, General meditation in the meditation gate, Buddha’s name to transform cancer, Predestined fate and many research documents on customs, practices, feng shui and spiritual practice.
According to Mr. Phuong Van Chuong – Director of the Information – Library Center, the construction of the Buddhist and Spiritual Science bookshelf was carried out according to the direction of the school’s leaders to create more rich sources of materials for readers. These documents not only serve academic research but also help readers access the moral, humanistic values and profound philosophy of life of Buddhism.

Especially, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Intracom University also directed the School Library to build this bookshelf to contribute to spreading humanistic values in the university education environment. Accordingly, the formation of bookcases not only aims to supplement research materials but also demonstrates the School’s orientation to building an educational environment rich in cultural identity, promoting ethics and the spirit of good will. When readers, students, lecturers and visitors to the Library come to Intracom University, they will feel the humane, intellectual and good-oriented culture that the University is building.

The process of building bookcases has received valuable attention and support from many individuals and organizations. In particular, Venerable Thich Thanh Doan – Abbot of Tho Vuc Pagoda made a commitment to donate 7 boxes of books with 825 valuable Buddhist books. In addition, Dr. Pham Ngoc Cuong coordinated with the Library to mobilize bookstores to support nearly 200 books on Buddhism, spirituality and related practical materials. Ms. Tran Thi Hien – Director of Science and Technology Printing House also continues to support more Buddhist books for the School Library.

These precious documents will help readers gain deeper access to the intellectual, moral and human values of Buddhism. At the same time, documents on customs, practices, feng shui and spiritual knowledge also bring many useful perspectives to students in fields such as architecture, construction, medicine, law and economics, helping to supplement soft knowledge and the ability to apply in future work.
In the coming time, Intracom University Library and Information Center hopes to continue to receive attention and support for books and documents from individuals and organizations to constantly enrich the resources to serve the University’s academic community.
