In the context of higher education moving strongly from experience-based management to data-based management, accessing advanced management models and updating international quality assurance trends is becoming an inevitable requirement for each educational institution.
With the orientation of constantly innovating management, improving the quality of training and development according to international standards, on July 7 and 8, 2026, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Intracom University attended Session 2 of the International Conference “Improving the operational efficiency of educational institutions through data-based quality assurance: International experience and application in Vietnam” organized by the Center for Educational Quality Assurance – Ho Chi Minh City National University.
The conference brought together nearly 100 delegates from universities across the country and international experts in the field of quality assurance and educational administration. Accompanying the program, Intracom University continues to affirm its interest in academic activities and commitment to investing in improving the quality of education.
During two working days, experts from the United States and Vietnam directly guided, exchanged and practiced many in-depth content on quality management in higher education.
Topics focus on building a KPI system associated with development strategy, designing data architecture, building management dashboards, analyzing evidence and building action plans on the basis of actual data of each university.
These are important tools that help educational institutions not only meet quality accreditation requirements but also gradually form a modern, transparent and evidence-based governance model in the decision-making process.
One of the highlights of the conference is the Panel Discussion session: Operational Readiness in Practice, which brings together experts and educational managers to discuss the requirements placed on universities during the period of transformation of the governance model.
At the discussion session, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Intracom University, as an educational manager and accreditor, shared with the speakers their views on the transition from thinking about meeting accreditation to building a data-based quality management system. Opinions focus on establishing a quality culture, standardizing administrative processes and applying data to improve the operational efficiency of educational institutions.
The discussions at the forum have brought many practical perspectives, while also opening up opportunities to connect and learn from experiences between domestic and foreign universities.
Through the conference, Intracom University continues to update new trends in higher education administration, while adding a practical basis to implement the University’s quality assurance strategy in the coming period.
According to the orientation, Intracom University will gradually improve the KPI system associated with the development strategy, build a data architecture to serve management, standardize the evidence system and develop a data-based quality management model, aiming to improve management efficiency and continuously improve training activities, scientific research as well as serving learners.
