Intracom University Pays Tribute to Fallen Heroes on 27 July

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), Intracom University coordinated with Vinh Thanh Commune Youth Union and Dong Anh Commune Youth Union to organize incense offering activities to commemorate fallen heroes. This is an activity with profound meaning, expressing the gratitude of today’s generation to those who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the peaceful life of the People.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, representatives of Intracom University, Youth Union officials, union members, and youth of the units respectfully offered flowers, offered incense, and spent a moment of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the fallen heroes.

Each incense stick lit is not only a tribute to the deceased but also shows the younger generation’s feelings, responsibility and deep gratitude for the sacrifices and losses of their ancestors in the cause of fighting for national liberation, building and protecting the Fatherland.

Sincerely Remembering Those Who Sacrificed for the Fatherland 

Through the struggles for independence and defense of the country, so many outstanding people of the nation have not spared their youth, blood and bones, ready to fight and sacrifice for the peace and freedom of their homeland. Those noble contributions and sacrifices have contributed to the glorious history of the Vietnamese people.

The war has receded, the country is innovating and developing day by day, but the memories of a time of arduous struggle and the losses that war left behind still remain. Therefore, the work of paying tribute to people who contributed to the revolution is not only a responsibility but also a good sentiment and morality that has been preserved and continued by generations of Vietnamese people.

Before the heroic souls of the heroic martyrs, the working group expressed infinite gratitude to those who devoted and sacrificed for the revolutionary cause of the Party, for national independence and the happiness of the People. The sacrifices of previous generations are the foundation for today’s generation to live, study, work and develop in a peaceful country.

Fostering the Tradition of “Drinking Water, Remember Its Source” for the Younger Generation 

The incense offering activity on the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs, July 27, is one of the practical activities to educate revolutionary traditions, patriotism and the ethics of “Drinking water, remember the source”, “Repaying gratitude” to officers, union members and students of Intracom University.

Through the program, each union member and youth has the opportunity to understand more deeply the value of peace, independence and freedom; thereby enhancing the sense of responsibility towards oneself, family and society. This is also an opportunity for the younger generation to look back on history, appreciate the achievements that their ancestors have paid for with their blood and bones, and at the same time become more aware of the responsibility to continue the tradition, building the homeland and the country to become increasingly rich and strong.

The coordination between Intracom University with Vinh Thanh Commune Youth Union and Dong Anh Commune Youth Union in organizing gratitude activities also contributes to strengthening the connection between the University and local Youth Union organizations. Thereby, promoting the proactive and volunteer role of youth in community activities, social security and traditional education.

Continuing the tradition with practical actions

Gratitude to fallen heroes and martyrs is not only expressed by memorial incense sticks but also needs to be followed by specific actions in study, work and life. For the youth of Intracom University, gratitude is the motivation for each officer, union member, and student to constantly study, practice, live with ideals, be responsible, and be ready to contribute to the community.

Promoting that spirit, Intracom University youth will continue to actively participate in volunteer activities, take care of policy families, people with meritorious services to the revolution and carry out many community-oriented programs. Thereby, contributing to spreading humanistic values, the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility in the educational environment.

The incense offering and commemoration of heroic martyrs on July 27 left many deep emotions in each participating member. This is not only an opportunity to remember and express gratitude, but also to remind the young generation of their responsibility to preserve revolutionary achievements, promote good traditions of the nation and join hands to build an increasingly developed country.
